How to Order Your Custom Iron Door
Follow our guide to choose the right size, configuration, and style for your custom iron door.
Then select your finishes, glass, and hardware to complete your order with confidence.
Step 1. Choose Your Door Configuration & Size
Start by selecting the basic configuration of your iron door.
Thermal Performance: Choose Standard Insulation or upgrade to Thermal Break Insulation for enhanced energy efficiency.
Door Configuration: Select the layout that best fits your entrance, including Single Door, Double Door, or configurations with sidelights and/or a transom.
Door Size: Choose the required door width and height from the available size options.
Jamb Size: Select the jamb depth that matches your wall construction. If you are unsure, confirm the wall thickness before placing your order.
Step 2. Select Your Door Finish & Glass
Customize the appearance of your door by choosing the finish and glass style that best complements your home.
Door Finish: Select from our available metal finishes, or choose Custom if you need a specific color.
Glass Finish: Choose the level of privacy and visual texture you prefer. Each glass option provides a different balance of light, privacy, and decorative character.
Colors and textures shown on screen are for reference and may vary slightly due to lighting and display settings.
Step 3. Choose Glass & Structural Options
Continue customizing the construction and appearance of your door.
Glass Type: Choose from insulated, Low-E, or impact-rated glass options depending on your project requirements.
Door Top Design: Select the top profile that best matches your architectural style, such as Square Top, Full Arch, or Eyebrow Arch.
Transom Option: For compatible configurations, choose whether to include a transom or a combination of sidelights and transom.
Insect Screens: Add detachable insect screens if required, or select No Screen.
Some options may only be available with specific door configurations.
Step 4. Choose Your Handle Style
Select the hardware style that best complements your door design.
Choose between Traditional Handles, Modern Handles, or Custom Hardware. After selecting a style, choose your preferred handle design from the available options shown below.
Traditional hardware works especially well with decorative and classic iron doors, while modern handles provide a cleaner architectural appearance.
Custom hardware is also available for projects requiring a specific design or specification.
Step 5. Select Door Swing & Sidelights
Confirm the opening direction and sidelight configuration before adding the door to your cart.
Door Swing: Choose Left-Hand Inswing, Left-Hand Outswing, Right-Hand Inswing, or Right-Hand Outswing. The diagrams indicate the door movement when viewed from the exterior.
Sidelights: Select No Sidelight, Single Sidelight on the Left or Right, or Double Sidelights.
If sidelights are selected, choose the appropriate sidelight size from the available options.
Please verify these selections carefully, as they affect the final construction of your custom door.
Step 6. Review Your Selections & Add to Cart
Before adding the door to your cart, review all selected specifications carefully.
Confirm that the configuration, dimensions, finish, glass, hardware, swing direction, sidelights, and other options are correct.
Read and accept the customization terms shown on the product page. The additional cost of your selected options will be displayed before checkout.
Once everything is confirmed, click Add To Cart to continue.
