OVERVIEW

Welcome to IronEntryStudio. The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to IronEntryStudio.

IronEntryStudio operates this website and online store, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services provided through the website (collectively, the “Services”).

Our store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer our products and Services online.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”), together with any policies referenced herein, govern your access to and use of the Services and your purchase of products from IronEntryStudio.

By visiting, interacting with, purchasing from, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not access or use the Services.

SECTION 1 – ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION

By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or jurisdiction of residence.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when placing an order, requesting a quote, creating an account, or otherwise interacting with IronEntryStudio.

Information required to process an order may include:

  • Customer name

  • Email address

  • Telephone number

  • Billing information

  • Shipping address

  • Door measurements

  • Opening dimensions

  • Product specifications

  • Customization selections

  • Installation-related information

  • Other information reasonably required to process the order

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.

SECTION 2 – PRODUCTS AND CUSTOM-MADE ORDERS

IronEntryStudio specializes in iron doors and related products, including custom and made-to-order products.

Depending on the product, available customization options may include:

  • Door dimensions

  • Single or double door configuration

  • Door swing

  • Finish and color

  • Glass type

  • Handles and hardware

  • Jamb depth

  • Sidelights

  • Transoms

  • Threshold specifications

  • Other available custom options

Most custom products are manufactured according to specifications selected, provided, confirmed, or approved by the customer.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all measurements, drawings, configurations, selections, and specifications before final approval and production.

We make reasonable efforts to display product photographs, colors, finishes, textures, glass, materials, and other details accurately.

However, actual appearance may vary because of:

  • Lighting conditions

  • Screen or device settings

  • Handcrafted manufacturing methods

  • Material variations

  • Hand-applied finishes

  • Glass characteristics

  • Welding or forged details

  • Normal production variation

Minor variations that do not materially affect product function or substantially differ from confirmed order specifications are not considered defects.

Product specifications, availability, features, and prices may change without prior notice.

SECTION 3 – ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from IronEntryStudio.

An order is not considered accepted until the required payment has been successfully processed and IronEntryStudio has confirmed acceptance of the order.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, hold, or cancel an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

  • Pricing errors

  • Product information errors

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

  • Payment authorization problems

  • Delivery restrictions

  • Product availability

  • Incomplete customization information

  • Incomplete or inconsistent measurements

  • Inability to manufacture the requested configuration

  • Other circumstances that prevent us from reasonably fulfilling the order

If IronEntryStudio cancels an order, any applicable refund will be handled according to these Terms, our Cancellation Policy, and applicable law.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it.

SECTION 4 – CUSTOM ORDER CONFIRMATION

Custom production will not begin until all required information and applicable approvals have been received.

Depending on the order, this may include:

  • Required initial payment

  • Door dimensions

  • Rough opening dimensions

  • Door configuration

  • Swing direction

  • Finish

  • Glass

  • Handles and hardware

  • Jamb specifications

  • Sidelight specifications

  • Transom specifications

  • Threshold requirements

  • Final drawings

  • Other applicable customization details

Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving the accuracy of drawings, dimensions, specifications, and selected options.

Once final drawings have been approved and production has begun, requested changes may:

  • No longer be possible

  • Require additional fees

  • Require additional materials

  • Require revised drawings

  • Extend the production timeline

A requested change is not considered accepted until IronEntryStudio confirms the change in writing.

SECTION 5 – CUSTOMER MEASUREMENT RESPONSIBILITY

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all measurements they provide or approve are accurate.

This may include:

  • Rough opening dimensions

  • Door dimensions

  • Jamb depth

  • Wall thickness

  • Swing direction

  • Threshold requirements

  • Sidelight dimensions

  • Transom dimensions

  • Installation clearances

  • Other site-specific measurements

Products manufactured according to customer-confirmed measurements are not considered defective or incorrect solely because those measurements later prove unsuitable for the installation location.

If you are uncertain about measurements or specifications, please contact IronEntryStudio before final approval.

SECTION 6 – PRICES

Unless otherwise stated, prices displayed on ironentrystudio.com are in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Prices may change without prior notice.

The price applicable to an order will generally be the price confirmed when the order is placed.

Applicable sales taxes and any other charges specifically disclosed during checkout, quotation, invoice, or order confirmation are the customer’s responsibility.

Where stated, free standard curbside freight delivery may be included for eligible physical addresses within the contiguous United States.

Additional shipping terms are provided in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

SECTION 7 – PAYMENT TERMS

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout or otherwise made available by IronEntryStudio.

Payment methods may include major credit and debit cards and supported digital payment services.

For eligible custom and made-to-order products, a 50% initial payment is required to confirm the order and begin the customization and production process.

The remaining 50% balance is due after production is substantially completed and before the order is released for shipment.

Orders will not be released for shipment until the required remaining balance has been paid in full.

The payment schedule and eligibility for a staged payment arrangement will be stated at checkout or in the quotation, invoice, or written order confirmation before payment is required. Orders not expressly offered a staged payment arrangement may require payment in full.

Any alternative payment arrangement must be confirmed by IronEntryStudio in writing.

Payments are processed through Shopify and/or supported third-party payment providers.

IronEntryStudio does not directly store complete credit card information.

SECTION 8 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Most custom and made-to-order iron doors have an estimated total lead time of approximately 14–17 weeks after all required order details, measurements, customization selections, required initial payment, final drawings, and applicable approvals have been completed. Any remaining balance must be paid before shipment as stated in Section 7.

Production and delivery timelines are estimates and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur because of circumstances including:

  • Product complexity

  • Material availability

  • Production workload

  • Custom fabrication requirements

  • Freight carrier schedules

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Weather

  • Holidays

  • Restricted delivery access

  • Other circumstances outside our reasonable control

Free standard curbside freight delivery is available to eligible physical addresses within the contiguous United States where stated.

Standard curbside freight delivery does not include:

  • Installation

  • In-home placement

  • Garage placement

  • Stair carry

  • Unpacking

  • Assembly

  • Forklift service

  • Packaging removal

Customers are responsible for arranging sufficient assistance and appropriate equipment to safely receive and move the shipment from the curbside delivery point.

Depending on the size and weight of the order, multiple able-bodied people or suitable unloading equipment may be required.

If the delivery location cannot be safely accessed by the freight carrier because of narrow roads, steep terrain, construction, road restrictions, low clearances, weight restrictions, or similar conditions, delivery may be made to the nearest safe and accessible location.

Additional terms are provided in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.

SECTION 9 – DELIVERY INSPECTION

Customers should inspect the shipment carefully upon delivery and before installation or modification.

Customers should inspect:

  • Exterior packaging

  • Crates

  • Door units

  • Glass

  • Hardware

  • Accessories

  • Shipping labels

  • Quantity of packages received

Whenever possible, visible damage should be noted directly on the carrier’s delivery receipt or Proof of Delivery.

Customers should retain original packaging until the shipment has been inspected and any potential claim has been resolved.

SECTION 10 – VISIBLE FREIGHT DAMAGE

Visible freight damage must be reported to IronEntryStudio within 3 calendar days after delivery.

Customers should provide reasonable documentation, including photographs of:

  • Exterior packaging

  • Crates

  • Shipping labels

  • Visible damage

  • The full product

  • Affected areas

Failure to report visible damage promptly may make it more difficult to investigate the freight claim.

SECTION 11 – CONCEALED SHIPPING DAMAGE, DELIVERY ISSUES, AND WARRANTY CLAIMS

Concealed shipping damage, incorrect products, or missing essential components should be reported to IronEntryStudio within 7 calendar days after delivery and before installation or permanent modification whenever reasonably possible.

Manufacturing defects discovered during the initial delivery inspection should also be reported promptly so the original product condition can be evaluated.

The 7-day delivery inspection period does not shorten or replace the applicable warranty periods stated in our Warranty Policy. Manufacturing defects discovered later may be submitted for review during the applicable warranty period, subject to the coverage, exclusions, and claim procedures in that policy.

Customers should provide reasonable documentation necessary to investigate the issue. Nothing in these reporting guidelines limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

SECTION 12 – DO NOT INSTALL OR MODIFY PRODUCTS WITH A REPORTED ISSUE

If you discover damage, a defect, an incorrect product, or missing essential components before installation, contact IronEntryStudio before installing or permanently modifying the affected product. For an issue discovered after installation, contact us before repairs or modifications that could interfere with evaluating the issue.

Do not permanently:

  • Install

  • Cut

  • Drill

  • Weld

  • Paint

  • Refinish

  • Modify

  • Alter

the affected product before contacting us when doing so could interfere with evaluating the original condition.

Installation or modification after discovering an issue may affect the available remedy if the alteration makes it difficult to determine the product’s original condition.

SECTION 13 – RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Because most IronEntryStudio products are custom-made according to customer-selected specifications, custom products are generally final sale.

Custom and made-to-order products are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund solely because of:

  • Change of mind

  • Buyer’s remorse

  • Personal preference

  • Incorrect measurements provided or approved by the customer

  • Incorrect door swing selected by the customer

  • Incorrect jamb depth selected or approved by the customer

  • Customer-selected dimensions

  • Customer-selected configuration

  • Customer-selected finish or color

  • Customer-selected glass

  • Customer-selected handles or hardware

  • Changes to the customer’s project after production begins

  • Changes to the building or opening after production

  • Personal preference regarding a product that substantially matches the confirmed specifications

This limitation does not apply to eligible claims involving confirmed:

  • Freight damage

  • Manufacturing defects

  • Incorrect products

  • Missing essential components

  • Products materially different from the confirmed order specifications

Depending on the circumstances, IronEntryStudio may offer one or more of the following remedies:

  • Replacement parts

  • Repair assistance

  • Local repair support

  • Product replacement

  • Partial refund

  • Full refund

  • Authorized return

  • Another appropriate resolution

The appropriate remedy will depend on the nature and severity of the issue, product condition, and feasibility of repair or replacement.

SECTION 14 – RETURN AUTHORIZATION

Do not return oversized iron doors or freight shipments without prior written authorization from IronEntryStudio.

All physical returns must receive approval before shipment.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

Because iron doors are oversized freight products, return transportation must be coordinated carefully.

Customers should not independently arrange freight return shipping unless authorized by IronEntryStudio.

SECTION 15 – RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

If a physical return is approved because of:

  • Confirmed freight damage

  • Manufacturing defect

  • Incorrect product

  • Missing essential component

  • Another confirmed error attributable to IronEntryStudio

IronEntryStudio will arrange or cover reasonable approved return shipping costs.

There is no restocking fee for approved returns resulting from confirmed shipping damage, manufacturing defects, incorrect products, missing essential components, or other seller-attributable errors.

SECTION 16 – REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Refunds are generally processed within 5–8 business days after approval, or sooner where required by applicable law.

If a physical return is required, refund processing may begin after the returned product has been received and inspected.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time before the refund appears in your account.

SECTION 17 – EXCHANGES

We do not offer standard exchanges for custom or made-to-order iron doors.

If an eligible product issue is confirmed, IronEntryStudio will provide an appropriate remedy under our Return & Refund Policy rather than process the issue as a standard exchange.

SECTION 18 – ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Because custom iron doors require design work, drawings, material preparation, production scheduling, manufacturing labor, custom fabrication, and other resources, cancellation eligibility depends on the stage of the order.

Before Final Drawing Approval and Before Production Begins

If you request cancellation before final drawing approval and before production begins, you are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid toward the canceled order.

A cancellation is not considered complete until confirmed by IronEntryStudio in writing.

After Final Drawing Approval but Before Production Begins

If the final drawing has been approved but production has not yet begun, you may request cancellation by contacting IronEntryStudio as soon as possible.

If your cancellation request is received before production begins and cancellation is confirmed in writing, you are eligible for a full refund of amounts paid toward the canceled order.

The 50% production cancellation fee does not apply until the order has entered production.

A cancellation is not considered complete until confirmed by IronEntryStudio in writing.

After Final Drawing Approval and Production Has Begun

Once the final drawing has been approved and the order has entered production, cancellation may be subject to a production cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total product purchase price of the canceled order, after applicable discounts and before sales tax.

For purposes of these Terms, the total product purchase price means the price of the products included in the canceled order after applicable discounts, excluding sales tax and separately stated shipping or delivery charges.

The cancellation fee is calculated based on the total product purchase price of the order, not the amount already paid by the customer.

Any eligible amount paid by the customer in excess of the applicable cancellation fee will be refunded to the original payment method.

If the amount already paid is less than the applicable cancellation fee, any remaining amount due may remain payable to the extent permitted by applicable law.

The cancellation fee reflects costs already committed to the custom order, which may include:

  • Design and engineering work

  • Drawings and order preparation

  • Materials

  • Labor

  • Production scheduling

  • Custom fabrication

  • Customer-specific components

  • Other production-related expenses

Because each custom iron door is manufactured specifically for the confirmed order, these costs may no longer be recoverable after production begins.

After Shipping Has Been Arranged or the Order Has Been Dispatched

Once freight transportation has been arranged or the order has been dispatched, the order cannot be canceled.

Refusing delivery does not constitute an approved cancellation and does not automatically make the order eligible for a refund.

Storage, redelivery, reconsignment, rerouting, return freight, or other carrier charges resulting from an unauthorized refusal may be the customer’s responsibility.

Cancellation Refund Processing

Approved cancellation refunds will be issued to the original payment method and are generally processed within 5–8 business days after cancellation approval, or sooner where required by applicable law.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time before the refund appears in your account.

Cancellation requests are reviewed based on the stage of the order when the request is received. Additional cancellation terms are provided in our Cancellation Policy.

These cancellation restrictions and production cancellation fees do not apply where applicable law requires cancellation or a full refund, including any applicable rights arising from a shipping delay.

SECTION 19 – CUSTOMER-REQUESTED CHANGES

Requests to change an order are separate from cancellation requests.

After final drawing approval or production begins, requested changes may:

  • No longer be possible

  • Require additional fees

  • Require additional materials

  • Extend the production timeline

  • Require revised drawings

  • Require additional approval

Any change must be reviewed and confirmed by IronEntryStudio before it becomes part of the order.

Do not assume a requested change has been accepted unless you receive written confirmation from us.

SECTION 20 – DELAYS

Production and delivery timelines are estimates. We will communicate material changes to the expected shipping schedule.

Delays caused by circumstances such as:

  • Material availability

  • Product complexity

  • Production conditions

  • Freight carrier schedules

  • Weather

  • Transportation conditions

  • Holidays

  • Events outside our reasonable control

do not automatically make a custom order eligible for cancellation or refund.

If we cannot ship within the applicable promised timeframe, we will provide the delay notice, revised shipping information, opportunity to consent to the delay or cancel, and prompt refund required by applicable law. Where the law requires a full refund for unshipped merchandise, no production cancellation fee will be deducted from that required refund.

Customers may also contact IronEntryStudio to review the order status and available options.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

SECTION 21 – CANCELLATION BY IRONENTRYSTUDIO

If IronEntryStudio determines that it cannot fulfill an order and cancels the order, the customer will receive a refund of the applicable amount paid for the canceled order.

If only part of an order cannot be fulfilled, IronEntryStudio may contact the customer to discuss reasonable alternatives before cancellation.

SECTION 22 – NATURAL AND HANDCRAFTED VARIATIONS

IronEntryStudio products may include handcrafted finishes, hand-applied patinas, glass, welded components, forged details, and other materials that naturally show variation.

Minor differences may occur in:

  • Finish tone

  • Texture

  • Patina appearance

  • Hand-forged details

  • Weld appearance

  • Glass characteristics

  • Color under different lighting

  • Hand-applied finishing

Such minor variations are not automatically considered defects.

A product may be considered materially different when it substantially fails to match the confirmed order specifications or intended function.

SECTION 23 – CUSTOMER-SELECTED OPTIONS

Customers are responsible for reviewing and confirming selected options before production.

These may include:

  • Door configuration

  • Dimensions

  • Finish

  • Color

  • Glass

  • Handles

  • Hardware

  • Swing direction

  • Jamb depth

  • Sidelights

  • Transoms

  • Other custom details

A product manufactured according to confirmed customer selections is not considered incorrect solely because the customer later prefers a different option.

SECTION 24 – INSTALLATION

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing, product prices and standard freight delivery do not include installation.

Customers are responsible for ensuring appropriate installation of the product.

Installation should be performed safely and in accordance with:

  • Applicable building codes

  • Local requirements

  • Manufacturer instructions

  • Project-specific conditions

We recommend using qualified installers familiar with oversized iron entry doors.

IronEntryStudio is not responsible for damage or problems caused by:

  • Improper installation

  • Incorrect site preparation

  • Improper handling after delivery

  • Unauthorized modification

  • Use of unsuitable hardware

  • Structural conditions at the installation site

  • Failure to follow applicable installation requirements

These conditions are not considered manufacturing defects.

SECTION 25 – PRODUCT CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Proper care and maintenance may be required to maintain the appearance and performance of:

  • Iron doors

  • Finishes

  • Glass

  • Handles

  • Hardware

  • Weather seals

  • Other components

Normal wear, environmental exposure, improper maintenance, harsh chemicals, accidental damage, unauthorized alterations, or improper installation may not qualify as manufacturing defects.

Any applicable warranty coverage is governed by our Warranty Policy.

SECTION 26 – REFUSED DELIVERIES

Customers should not refuse delivery solely because of minor packaging damage.

If visible damage is present, customers should, whenever reasonably appropriate:

  • Note the damage on the delivery receipt

  • Take clear photographs

  • Retain packaging

  • Contact IronEntryStudio promptly

Unauthorized refusal of delivery may result in storage, redelivery, reconsignment, rerouting, or return freight charges.

Refusing delivery does not automatically create eligibility for a cancellation, return, or refund.

SECTION 27 – PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

If you believe there is a problem with your order, payment, cancellation, delivery, or product issue, please contact IronEntryStudio so we have an opportunity to review the matter.

Submitting a payment dispute or chargeback does not change these Terms or automatically make a custom order eligible for cancellation, return, exchange, or refund.

Nothing in this section limits any lawful rights available to customers.

SECTION 28 – FRAUDULENT OR ABUSIVE CLAIMS

IronEntryStudio reserves the right to deny claims involving:

  • Fraud

  • False statements

  • Altered documentation

  • Intentional damage

  • Unauthorized product modification that causes or materially worsens the claimed issue

  • Claims materially inconsistent with available production, shipping, delivery, or photographic records

Nothing in this section limits non-waivable rights available under applicable law.

We do not guarantee that website access will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.

  • Other written terms displayed on the website
